Neutral Atom Computing in Practice
EPITA (Le Kremlin-Bicêtre, Paris), Autumn 2026. 15 hours over five sessions.
A short course for engineering students on how a neutral-atom quantum computer actually gets programmed. It moves from Rydberg atoms as qubits and the analog Hamiltonian to writing and emulating a first program, then to adiabatic protocols for optimisation problems and quench dynamics, and ends with a hands-on project. Every session has a practical part in Python with QoolQit, running on emulators.
Earlier
During my PhD at SISSA I co-supervised PhD students and master’s interns, and a couple of times gave a few hours of introductory lectures on programming quantum computers with Qiskit.
