I’m a quantum algorithm developer at Pasqal in Paris, in the Primitives team. My job is to turn physics ideas into software that runs on neutral-atom quantum processors, and most of that work goes into QoolQit.

I came to this from the simulation side. My PhD at SISSA (Trieste, 2020 to 2024) was on many-body simulations: tensor networks for non-equilibrium dynamics, measurement-induced transitions, hybrid tensor-network/stabilizer methods, plus a few experiments using early IBM devices as testbeds for thermodynamic and foundational tests. Afterwards I spent a year and a half as a postdoc at CPHT, École Polytechnique, and at the Collège de France, working on neural-network quantum states: how expressive they are, how to optimise them cheaply, and how to train one model over a whole family of Hamiltonians.

I was born in Prato, in Tuscany, Italy, and studied physics in Florence. I also teach a short course on neutral-atom computing at EPITA.
